I enjoy hunting and fishing when time is available,but most of the spare time is involved with Electronics, I enjoy building things, Last year I had an open loop geothermal heating system installed and it is amazing, the water entering the furnace is only 51 Deg F in the month of January, the water goes into the furnace, 8 Deg of heat is removed from the water and it then is returned back to the ground to warm back up, it works like your fridge, it removes the heat from inside, moving it to the back of the fridge as heat, the Geothermal system works the same way on a bigger scale. I have included a picture of the furnace. The other project I have in the works is to sell Electrical Power back to the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) using solar panels, it is a 20 year contract and the new Green Energy Act FIT will help with Solar PV production in Ontario, I have plans to start with 22 Sharp Solar Panels (4600 w), I have went with the Canadian made Xantrex Grid Tie Inverters and also plan on making 1600 W of panels track the sun with a Slewing Drive Bearing, I will add some pictures are things get going
